What a house, we’ve stayed in various Self Catering houses & cottages around the country and this is by far the nicest and best equipped of the lot!!

Absolutely stunning views from every window especially the upper lounge… It was our first trip to Arran and we loved it! Hopefully it won’t be long before we can return. Thanks Iain for all your help and information.

We stayed at A’Chrannchuir in August 2020 as first time visitors to Arran. What an absolutely stunning house.

The design of the house is awesome not only in layout, furnishings and decor, but also in how it captures the magnificent views that surround it. Tranquil, relaxing and so homely that we couldn’t fail to enjoy our stay.

Arran is a beautiful island and the scenery is breathtaking. Highly recommended. The service and communication from Iain is first class and all helped ensure our “staycation” was a week to remember! We WILL return!

We stayed at the house with 9 people and it was just amazing. Iain picked us up from the bus stop and answered all of our questions very quickly. He also had a lot of tips for us. The house was even more beautiful than we expected. The view is great, it was clean and the kitchen is very big and good equipped. Also the beds were very comfortable. We really recommend this island for vacation, there are a lot of different things to do and beautiful scenery. Thank you very much for everything!

We stayed at Iain & Lisa’s house in Kilpatrick for a long weekend with family. It is a beautiful house, exceptionally clean, breathtaking views and close to the beach and great walks.

The downstairs space is perfect for families and groups due to its great layout. The bedrooms are all well-sized and there are three bathrooms so plenty of space. We were all impressed with the high spec finish and it really felt like a home away from home.

Iain was the perfect host and was very attentive and detailed. I contacted him a couple of times via text over the weekend and he replied quickly with additional information. He gave us a quick call on arrival to ensure we were settled and had a travel cot and high chair ready for our arrival as we had young children in the group. I would not hesitate to recommend Iain and this beautiful house and we will certainly be returning!

Thanks Iain & Lisa for your hospitality and making us feel so welcome in your home. We had a lovely break and our only regret was not booking a longer stay! Hopefully we will be back when the travel restrictions make everything a little easier! Really missing the views…
